Are you prepared to deal with medical emergencies in wilderness situations? This course is an invaluable tool for individuals or those leading groups away from the immediate reach of an ambulance. Our WFR is an intensive ten day course with training in basic anatomy, injuries, wilderness illnesses, risk management, patient assessment, treatment, evacuation and disaster response.
You will receive a two year certification through YWAM Salem for this 96 hour course. The course is designed to give you quality training using: classroom lecture, hands on skills and multiple scenarios. You will not only be prepared for the worst, you will be prepared to prevent the worst.
