A YWAM DTS is a 6-month missions training experience in Salem, Oregon. Designed to help you gain the skills you need to pursue God fully in every aspect of your life, discipleship training is about serving God, knowing God, and making Him known to others across the nation.

Our discipleship training school is broken into two phases: the campus phase and the outreach phase. In each session, DTS students - young adults with a high school diploma or 18 years old or older - learn to embody the love of Jesus Christ.
The campus phase is your chance to connect and grow in your faith within a community of other believers. Live in dormitory-style housing on our beautiful campus in the scenery of Salem, Oregon. Enjoy daily work duties, worship, small group discussions, self-reflection, and, of course, our DTS electives. These courses are designed to highlight your unique passions and turn them into powerful discipleship tools.
Take your newfound missional mindset into the world during the outreach phase. Ready to upgrade your Instagram and your life in one go? You'll travel from our campus to an international destination where communities of people have never heard God's story or encountered the Holy Spirit in their lives. You'll have the unique opportunity to embody God's heart and minister to these individuals through daily worship and service activities.

DTS is not just a classroom experience. At YWAM Salem, we believe that one key area of learning is by doing.
