Looking for a YWAM Leadership School? The School of Ministry Development (SOMD) is a great option.

Have you ever wondered if it’s possible to lead authentically in a culture steeped in fear and insecurities? The School of Ministry and Leadership Development (SOMD) serves as a tool for equipping the individual with a biblical foundation for effective personal ministry and identity-based leadership.  Students will grow in their ability to identify, assess and articulate personal core values.  The SOMD has a strong emphasis on strengthening the character of the individual, developing leadership skills and helping you gain confidence as a leader.  We place an emphasis on cultivating spiritual disciplines as a lifestyle developing a strong biblical foundation for ministry and understanding your gifting and calling.

Through a combination of diverse speakers covering a wide range of topics, weekly assignments, projects, and Bible reading we provide a comprehensive approach to developing the individual for a life-time of ministry and leadership.  This school seeks to increase your influence in societal spheres by taking the focus off trying to just think like a leader and places the focus on how to live like a leader.

The school really challenges you to figure out who you are and lead from there. Everyday you’re faced with a new situations where you’re encouraged to step out in faith. This has challenged my unbelief but has now instilled a new willingness to go where God is asking me to go.
