What kind of information does YWAM Salem accounting collect?

We may collect personal information from you, such as your name, email address, postal address, phone number, credit card information, etc., when you donate online, save your information with us online, or contact us with a question or concern. We maintain a record of your donation as needed to process your online donation.

How does YWAM Salem use my information?

We may use your personal information in the following ways:

• To process and fulfill your online donation request
• To communicate with you and to send you information by email, postal mail, telephone as needed in order to process your online donation
• To help us address problems with and improve our site design
• To protect the security or integrity of our website and mission
• To contact you if necessary

Does YWAM Salem share my information?

We do not share your information. We will only use the information to process your online donation request.

We do our best to provide you with a safe and convenient online experience. We have in place certain physical, electronic, contractual, and managerial safeguards to protect the security and privacy of your personal information.

When you enter your personal information on our website, we use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology to protect your information as it is transmitted to us. To make sure you are accessing our secure server before you submit personal financial information, look at the lower left-hand corner of your browser. If you see an unbroken key or a closed lock (depending upon your browser), then SSL is active. To double-check for security, look at the URL or Location line of your browser. If you have accessed a secure server, the first characters of the address in that line should change from "http" to "https."

What is "phishing"?

"Phishing" is a scam designed to steal your personal information. If you receive an email that looks like it is from us asking you for your personal information, do not respond. We will never request your password or user name through email.

What about links to other websites?

For your convenience and information, our website may contain links to other sites, which may have privacy policies that differ from our own. We are not responsible for the content or practices of any linked site. We recommend that you review the privacy policy of any site that you access through our sites.

501c3 Documentation and Tax Deduction Information for Youth With a Mission Salem

Youth With a Mission Salem is registered with the IRS as a 501(C)(3) non-profit corporation and all donations are tax deductible. After each donation, you will be emailed or mailed a tax deductible receipt for your records. At the end of each year, we also send you a summary statement of all donations to our organization. However, if you are looking to give to a student in one of our University of the Nations registered courses (such as the Discipleship Training School), your payment will not be eligible for a tax deduction. When you give toward one of our students training, legally it is viewed as a payment towards tuition. Per IRS guidelines and according to Oregon state law, tax deductions are not available for tuition payments. At YWAM Salem Oregon, we do our due diligence to abide by the IRS guidelines set before us. We thank you for your generous donations and payments on behalf of the people who walk in and out of our doors here at YWAM Salem.

Refund Policy

• If the student withdraws or does not attend the school the $500 deposit is refundable up to 30 days after withdrawal/no show. After 30 days of notification of withdrawal or no show this is non refundable.
• Any money due prior to cancellation will still be required. For example: if the student cancels during week 1 and still has not paid any tuition, the student still owes 10% of the total tuition, during week 2, 25% and so on.
• Due to costs the school incurs for each student there will be no refund after week 8. These amounts go towards your room and food costs for the time you spent on this campus.
